Big Foot Pedicure, 1910s Poster
Man working with elephant in Central Park, New York City. Looks like she is getting a pedicure. The man is Bill Snyder, head keeper at the Central Park Zoo. No date with photo, but probably 1910s. Hattie was brought to New York in 1903 and died in 1922. Bain News Service, publisher. She was considered super intelligent compared to other elephants. LOC original medium: glass negative.
