A digital recreation of a silhouette map of Alaska formed by carefully scraping off the reddish outer surface on the reverse side of birch bark (Betula papyrifera) to reveal the lighter, yellowish layer beneath. Cyrillic text reading "С Рождеством" (S Rozhdestvom - A Russian Christmas greeting) appears and you may add your own additional text.This is a traditional craft among Native Americans/First Nations across the northern United States and Canada.
