【ひとつやなぎ くぎぬき】釘抜き紋／釘抜は、大工道具で、その言葉が九つの城を抜く「九城抜き」に通ずること、あるいは九つの城を持つという意味で尚武的な意義から武家に好まれた。・・播磨国小野藩一柳氏（高澤等著「家紋の事典」より）／「紋典」をはじめとして多くの紋帖が「一柳釘抜き」としているが、「江戸紋章集」はこれを”一柳家角一ノ字子持釘抜”、「紋之泉」は”一柳釘メ”としている。
