乃木 希典 POSTCARD
乃木 希典（のぎ まれすけ、嘉永2年11月11日（1849年12月25日） - 大正元年（1912年）9月13日）は、日本の武士（長府藩士）、軍人、教育者。階級は陸軍大将。栄典は贈正二位・勲一等・功一級・伯爵。第10代学習院院長。家紋は「市松四つ目結い」。幼名は無人（なきと）で、その後、源三と名を改め、頼時とも称した。 さらに後、文蔵、次いで希典と名を改めた。また、出雲源氏佐々木氏の子孫と称したことから源希典との署名もよく用いた。号としては、静堂、秀顕、石樵及び石林子を用いた。乃木大将」または「乃木将軍」などの呼称で呼ばれることも多い。
