【こいぶみ】文紋 文(ふみ)とは、手紙のこと。現在では封筒に入れるが、かつては紙を結んでいたことから、文紋では、文を結んだ形を紋形としている。基本の文形は、細長く折った紙を中ほどで引き結んで団子状や、「く」の字状にしたものが多い。なかには「恋文紋」のように、簪(かんざし)を付け加えた紋もある。(高澤等著「家紋のすべてがわかる本」)
