Molted feather from a companion bird, raised from an egg. Collected, washed in protective soap and laid out by hand to dry in a breezeless room. I photograph the plume with a Nikor macro lens. Composited in PhotoShop to suggest a Snowflake. From Lewis Mark Grimes "Feather Rishi Collection."
