In the 11th Airborne Division Tribute design, the valiant "Arctic Angels" of the American military are honoured. Founded in 1943, this legendary airborne unit became well-known in the Philippines during World War II for its daring leaps and formidable fighting presence. As members of the occupation forces in Japan after their military triumphs, they demonstrated courage and tenacity. The 11th Airborne Division was reorganised by the U.S. Military in 2022, with the 1st and 4th Brigade Combat Teams being designated as the division's 1st and 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Teams and the Alaska Headquarters being renamed. This artwork is a sincere homage to the 11th Airborne's legendary history and the valiant men and women who served under its command.
