The 11th Airborne Division Tribute design pays tribute to the brave "Arctic Angels" of the United States military. This airborne unit was founded in 1943 and became well-known in the Philippines during WWII. The Arctic Angels stood out on the battlefield due to their daring jumps and fierce fighting. Following their victories, they joined Japan's occupation force, demonstrating their bravery and fortitude.
The 11th Airborne Division will be the new name for the US Military Alaska headquarters by 2022. The 1st and 4th Brigade Combat Teams became the 1st and 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Teams of the 11th Airborne Division, respectively.
This design honours the 11th Airborne Division's legacy as well as the brave men and women who served valiantly. Allow yourself to be inspired by their bravery and determination.

I love the symbolism in this piece! The olive branches and flowers reminding us of Gethsemane and the joy of the resurrection. The candle reminding us of Christ's light and love. I've dropped it a few times already and it has held together nicely. Couldn't be more pleased with this product! Would definitely buy again. The printing was as expected on the front. Clear colors. The back where the artist put her brand name was a bit faded, but still readable.
