1890s rose catalog illustration White Rose Tie

Another image from the old artist’s estate that so many of my items are based on. This came from a pile of similar illustrations, which were clipped from the original catalog, so I don’t know what company put out the ‘Only White Ever-Blooming Hardy Climbing Rose.’ The estate was near Philadelphia, so there’s a possibility it came from Burpee catalog. No matter where it originated, the image is just plain gorgeous, and looks great on all kinds of EVERYTHING, including neckties. Wanna see more old?
