About This Design

1896 US Five Dollar silver Certificate Coffee Mug

The 1896 United States Five Dollar Silver Certificate. One of the three silver certificates issued from the ' Educational Series '. The allegorical motif of the design being ' Electricity as the dominant force in the world '. Without question one of the most handsome engravings the US Mint ever produced - simply magnificent. A wide range of Silver Certificates were issued from 1878 through 1964 and the owner of such a note could redeem the item for silver bullion or silver coins. I have other numismatic designs available in my Zazzle shop.

Classic Mug, 325 ml
I have ordered from zazzle before and it was perfect. This time the mug has arrived in great time but the mug has rubbed on the box and has affected the image, I was hoping to get in touch with the creator but can’t seem to find a way of contacting them. We would love another sent out maybe wrapped in bubble wrap to protect the image. Would love to hear back from the creator. Kind regards, Lisa.
