18th Aviation Brigade "Black Barons" T-Shirt

The 18th Aviation Brigade known as the "Black Barons" Part of XVIII Airborne Corps, In service with the Army from 1987–2006. Its initial formation in 1987 drew upon the resources of the 269th Aviation Battalion, originally formed in 1966. The 269th Aviation Battalion served with the 12th Aviation Group in South Vietnam from January 28, 1967 to April 15, 1971, being located at Cu Chi District. It primarily supported the 25th Infantry Division. The 18th saw combat during the Invasion Of Panama, Persian Gulf War & The Iraq War. The 18th Used the AH-1 Cobra Attack Helicopter, UH-60 Black Hawk, CH-47 Chinook, AH-64 Apache, & UH-1 Iroquois (Huey).
