Original copy of the 1916 Proclamation of Ireland. The 1916 Proclamation was a document issued by the Irish Volunteers and Irish Citizen Army during the 1916 Easter Rising in Ireland. In it, the Provisional Government of the Irish Republic, proclaimed Ireland's independence from the United Kingdom. The proclamation was read by Pádraig Pearse outside the General Post Office in the heart of Dublin. All seven signatories of the document were executed by the British State. The 1916 Easter Rising lead to the eventual independence of the Republic of Ireland.

I originally ordered this print in a larger size but was not pleased with the clarity of it. When I contacted Zazzle, they responded really quickly and were very helpful. I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it.
