This illustration comes from a New Years Day 1929 greeting card sent by James Oviatt to his customers. The card thanks them for their support of the then-new Oviatt Building and the "Alexander & Oviatt" haberdashery it housed. Designed by the architectural firm of Walker & Eisen, the Oviatt Building was completed in May, 1928.
