1937 Northwest Airlines "Sky Zephyrs" Vintage Tee
Northwest elected to go with the somewhat faster Lockheed 14 rather than the DC-2. In fact, they did not become a DC-3 operator until 1939. The Lockheed 14 is normally referred to as the Super Electra. However, Northwest dubbed them 'Sky Zephyr'. Their fleet of 12 were used on the longer stage lengths, relieving the Lockheed 10-As for the shorter haul sectors. The unusual dark coloured set of wings underlying the orangy-red "Northwest" titling made this a difficult aircraft to photograph at the best of times

I found the shirt quality itself to be well made. Unfortunately I found that the image quality of the artwork is low resoultion. So the art and words aren't as clear. I probably wont buy another shirt to be honest, but I'm glad I supported the podcast of which I'm a fan of. I was just hoping that for the price I paid, it would have been of better quality.

this was good quality and perfect colour. Printing was great although when we all opened our secret santa gifts one of the other mechanics commented whoever got that for him missed out part time after the word mechanic

I need not have worried. Colour was perfect true to the photo and ex quality Being a heavier weight the t shirt probably more suitable for New Zealand’s Autumn and Winter
