I found a set of two prints in a late 19th century magazine, one captioned ‘High Life,’ showing a well-kept dog living in a pleasant environment, the other captioned ‘Low Life,’ showing a shaggy mutt who appears to be living in a hovel. This poster is captioned 'High Life.' Note that shop also has the antique dog print entitled 'Low Life.'
