In 2002, Complete Latent Print Examination (CLPEX.com) began a contest to see who could design the coolest fingerprint-related logo. The contest has grown over the years, and the thousands of members of the website enjoy coming up with phrases, voting, and purchasing fingerprint-related t-shirts. The 2003 CLPEX.com T-shirt sports a latent print and the slightly cocky phrase, "leave something behind, GENIUS?" All proceeds of t-shirt sales go to website maintenance fees of CLPEX, one of the largest professional fingerprint-related websites on the internet.
