Phoenix was a warrior. He was rescued in December 2012 and fought his way back from the brink of death. He lived every moment to the fullest during the 3 years, 9 months and 1 day he had with his forever family. He was not only a diabetic, but had a pancreatic disorder called EPI, lost one eye due to complications from diabetes and cataract surgery and finally battled mast cell cancer. In the end, his body failed, but his spirit NEVER did. His smile will be forever in our hearts. Phee was bubbly and joyful, but was also a very well-mannered gentleman. He was everything a dog is supposed to be. The very definition of love and loyalty. He never asked for anything and loved so much. He was a sweet, darling boy.. Our Love. Our SweetPea. Our Phoenix. We will remember him always.
