2020 Calendar Blueberries Stemmed Leaves Border kitchen towel In this kitchen towel, the calendar months are in 2 columns, vertical layout, with blueberries with stemmed leaves in vertical alignment to left, inset, and the calendar to the right. The design is 2 groups of blueberries, one with leaves on stems, in repeat, scattered pattern, with white background, navy blue inset. I was inspired by a photo of blueberries in a Martha Stewart magazine article, plus I've always liked the old "Williamsburg" style fruit art, still life paintings and art with different types of fruits, singularly, and simplistically featured. The art is marker, acrylic paint, and coloured pencil, so mixed media, drawn and painted on printer paper, which is how I create most of my art, and then scan it, and bump up the resolution, with some digital tweaking.
