The next great American total solar eclipse is on Monday, April 8, 2024. It will begin in the Pacific Ocean and swing up through Mexico with a maximum at Durango. Totality will then be visible as totality follows a northeastern arc through Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. The path of this eclipse will cross the path of the last American total solar eclipse of August 21, 2017 in southern Illinois near Carbondale, with two totality events in just seven years. If you miss this event, you’ll have to wait until August 12, 2045 for the next total solar eclipse to cross the United States of America. Both sides of the fan turned very well. I was able to assemble them into very nice favors for my sister’s 75th birthday party once I figured out to use the glue dots. It would be very helpful for customers like me who have never used glue dots before to have instructions included in the package with the photos and sticks. I received lots of compliments on the fans. For example: “I love the fans!” “What an interesting idea!”

Lovely shape (I got the paddle) and sturdy 2-card fan design. Printed beautifully! I recommend you put them together yourself, but even then it’s a little tricky! Use your own respositionable tape (so you can unstick and restick until it’s right), the included dots to attach the handle, and some permanent liquid scrapbooking glue with a fine tip to seal the gaps. (There will be gaps due to the repositionable tape and the pull of the handle.).
