250th Anniversary Snowflake Collage Lumbar Cushion

Literally hundreds of hours went into designing, crocheting, stiffening, photographing and collaging 155 of my unique Snowcatcher snowflakes into what I hope will be better than fireworks or stars in celebrating 250 years of independence. When I finish a new digital snowflake temperature quilt, I always think it's my new favourite. I think this one tops everything else I've created because it took so many hours, I finished it while trying to heal from losing my beloved husband to Parkinson's complications, and I feel like he could be smiling over my shoulder because he knew how much this piece meant to me before he slipped away. I'm dedicating this one to him.
