30 Trajan's 30th Victorious Legion - Roman Eagle T-Shirt

This Legion was founded in 105 AD by the Emperor Trajan, who was at the time campaigning in Dacia. It was named after the Emperor, whose full name was Marcus Ulpius Trajanus. Stationed at Brigetio in Pannonia Superior, the Legion's distinction against the Dacians earned it the surname 'Victrix", which meant victorious. After 122, it was sent to Xanten in Germania Inferior, where it would be based for centuries. During the reign of Lucius Severus (198-211), it also garrisoned Lyon, the capital of the Gallic Provinces. Under Emperor Antoninus Pius (138-61), the Legion fought against the Mauri, and then against the Parthians under Lucius Verus in 162-66. It also was involved in Marcus Aurelius' Marcomannic Wars in 165-80, and against the Chauci in 173. When Civil War broke out in 193, the Legion immediately sided with Lucius Severus, despite the closer proximity of his rival, Clodius Albinus. The Legion was afterwards awarded the temporary honorary title 'Pia Fidelis' (Loyal and Faithful). It fought in Severus' Scottish campaign, and against the Persians under Severus Alexander in 235. The Legion is no longer mentioned after the Rhine frontier collapsed in 407. Its emblems were at different times the gods Neptune and Jupiter, but most often it was the capricorn.

I found the shirt quality itself to be well made. Unfortunately I found that the image quality of the artwork is low resoultion. So the art and words aren't as clear. I probably wont buy another shirt to be honest, but I'm glad I supported the podcast of which I'm a fan of. I was just hoping that for the price I paid, it would have been of better quality.
