『東海道五十三次』または『東海道五拾三次』は、歌川広重による浮世絵木版画の連作。東海道を初めて旅した後に作製したといわれている。『東海道五十三次』保永堂版は、広重の作品のうち最もよく知られたものであり、もっともよく売れた浮世絵木版画でもある。葛飾北斎の『富嶽三十六景』シリーズとともに、名勝を写して、浮世絵に名所絵（風景画）のジャンルを確立した。広重の東海道五十三次のシリーズは、日本だけでなく、のちの西洋美術にも影響を与えた。※Wikipediaより引用
