4th Armoured Division "Breakthrough" Women Sweatshirt
The 4th Armoured Division Tribute design honours the United States Military's distinguished armoured division. This division made history by leading General Patton's Third Military Force in World War II's European theatre. Unlike the majority of other US armoured divisions, it did not officially adopt a nickname during the war. However, its unofficial nickname, "Name Enough," originated postwar, reflecting the division commander's sentiment that "Fourth Armoured Division was name enough"; "They shall be known by their deeds alone." In 1954, the division was briefly known as the "Breakthrough" division, but this name was later dropped. This design honours the division and its brave men and women who served with valour and sacrifice.
