Hail to the state of Colombia. The design was inspired by the Washington DC flag and the district's borderline. These two ideas were combined thus resulting in a borderline with two stripes and three stars. To add further to DC's appeal, a silhouette of the Capitol building was cut out in the borderline. The number 51 was added to display the state's number if it becomes an official state.
