Thomas wants to be the silent partner to every conversation. If we didn’t keep the front gate closed he would make daily rounds to each campsite for visits. But because cars come and go he is safer with the rest of his farm friends. Before we kept the gate closed he enjoyed dinner with guests at several campsites. He is a charming and entertaining dining companion! At night, Thomas and Henrietta are escorted to the barn where snuggly straw awaits. They know when Al picks up his "turkey crook" that it's time to say goodnight. They run ahead to the barn, happily waiting for Al to open the door. I often put them to bed when rain is coming or if Al won’t be home until dark.” Vickie lives on our 440-acre Cedar Mountain Farm in North Idaho. Surrounded by mountains and hay fields and wild flora and fauna, the forested farm offers dramatic clouds, scenic vistas, a rustic pond and rippling creek, and outdoor family adventures. Vickie is at home with rabbits, chickens, horses, sheep and goats, and loves to introduce them to guests of all ages.
