It was also the night of the full Harvest Moon. I stumbled out to the field walking a circuitous path to avoid tripping the motion lights. I reached the driveway without falling on my face and saw a deer looking at me from the field. The rising moon became secondary and a prop for the inquisitive deer. I am so glad the deer was cooperative!!” Vickie lives on our 440-acre Cedar Mountain Farm in North Idaho. Surrounded by mountains and hay fields and wild flora and fauna, the forested farm offers dramatic clouds, scenic vistas, a rustic pond and rippling creek, and outdoor family adventures. Vickie is at home with rabbits, chickens, horses, sheep and goats, and loves to introduce them to guests of all ages. She always has her camera in hand.
