A Fork In The Pierogi by RoseWrites Mug

Oct 6th and 7th, 2024 On the topic of Canadian politics, I kept hearing the phrase "Liberals might prorogue parliament" on various media. Admittedly, I didn't follow politics much (prior to 2020) so I found this term difficult to remember — and even more difficult to pronounce. So during a conversation with my husband, I commented: "Oh, they'll likely pierogi parliament, don't you think?" He laughed. And then I remembered that the World's Largest Perogy [sic] sculpture resides in Glendon, Alberta, Canada. It's a whopping 27 feet tall (8.2296 metres) and was built in 1991. So, I wondered if there was a creative commons photo of it and found one (I did not modify the photo). My Roman Catholic grandparents escaped Poland and I know they would be proud of the Canadian efforts to restore human rights, freedom of press, freedom of speech, democracy, and Rule of Law in our once-great Commonwealth country and for fellow human beings around the globe. We are ALL members of the human race. I will add this mug to my Julian Assange Collection where you can find more freedom fighters.
