This Impressionism landscape masterpiece titled, A Grey Day Carmel was made by Guy Rose using the oil on canvas technique. Guy Rose taught and served as Director of the Stickney Memorial School of Art in Pasadena. In 1921 he suffered a debilitating stroke that left him paralysed. Guy Rose died in Pasadena, California on November 17, 1925. In 1926 the Stendahl Gallery held a memorial exhibition of his works

The product is very very nice, but shipping was slow. It looks beautiful hanging on the tree. It should have been in a storage box for safekeeping. We lost our little kitty, and now she is on our tree. thank you for doing a nice job. everything was really nice. I do recommend this ornament.
