Now that the herbivores had cans in which to transport diesel from the fountain to where they liked to hang out, and could outrun the carnivores as long as they had some diesel on board, they learned to relax. They no longer had to count numbers every evening and work out who had disappeared during the day. For the first time ever they had the advantage over the carnivores, and they were enjoying it!
