A Night in Decadent Paris canvas print. Art Deco print from 1914. French artist Georges Barbier was one of the great illustrators working in Paris France in the 1920s. He frequently depicted scenes of Parisian nightlife. A night in decadent Paris features a French couple dancing at a party. The woman wears an elegant blue dress with red sash and a large feather head piece, while the gentleman wears a tuxedo and moustache. Behind them a woman lifts a glass of cherries beside a table of pineapples, plums, oranges and figs. A pretty gift for fans of art deco, vintage paris, retro art, and the roaring twenties.

The print was really like something that would be purchased in a gallery. One of the panels needed to be re-stretched but that’s easy. I did 4 panels which when hung together made one huge image. I then enhanced the canvas by painting over some areas.. and then used permanent markers. The result was a personalized artistic piece for a clients early modern home. This piece far exceeded my expectations. Will definitely go back and use this idea again. Exact representation of image sent. Be aware that photos have pixelated flaws... if these little dark specks aren’t cleaned up using common computer techniques, they will be represented in the final canvas print..... so go over the image and make sure all flaws have been erased prior to submitting it. The reproduction is exactly what you send.
