A Peek Inside Webster House Kansas City Postcard

I took this photo after a wonderful dinner with my mum and friends at the Webster House, located at 17th and Wyandotte in Kansas City. It was built in 1885 as Webster school and is one of KC's oldest public school buildings. It was built in the style of Richardson Romanesque. It now is open to the public and filled room after room with amazing antiques and other items for the home, ready for immediate purchase. Upstairs is the restaurant where you'll enjoy an elegant dining atmosphere and wonderful food. It was nighttime when I shot this photo from outside the main entrance looking in. I used an iris blur to create a focal point along with added vibrance, giving the photo a surreal and miniature look. The soft glow of the indoor lighting adds to the mystique of this lovely photo.
