This antique chart shows what the Solar System was thought to look like in the middle of the 19th century. Neptune and Pluto where yet to be discovered and are not shown. Instead, several celestial objects thought to be planets (but now known to be asteroids) are included: Vesta, Juno, Ceres, and Pallas. It even includes a phantom planet: Vulcan, which was thought to orbit between the Sun and Mercury.
