As we commend his soul into Your hands O Lord, we ask You to have mercy and look with pity on the soul of Your servant who in a moment of despair, desperation or depression took his own life due to reasons only known to You and him. Lord, we don't know why these things happen, but we know that You are all merciful and we pray with faith that moments before he took his life You reached into his soul, made him realise his mistake and touched his heart with a feeling of remorse so that he would feel sorry for his actions and ask for Your forgiveness. We beg You not to judge him based on his faults or his failures or sins he committed due to human weakness and frailty but remember the good deeds he did and grant him complete remission of his sins.
