A Wiltshire Thatcher 1892 Postcard
This is a digitally enhanced print derived from an antique black and white photograph titled "A Wiltshire Thatcher". It was discovered in a Victorian photograph album titled: “Reminiscences of a visit to Shaftesbury. Whitsuntide 1892. A present to Auntie from Ernest.” It was taken by Ernest Howard Farmer. A similar image derived from the same photo was used in cover art for the fourth album of a famous English rock band released on November 8 1971.
