"Absinthe: Anise and Artemisia" Postcard

Absinthe - the Green Fairy - here anthropomorphised (fae-pomorphized?) as two fairy twin sisters symbolising two of the two herbal constituents of the drink - star anise and artemisia absinthium (wormwood). That's Anise on your left, and Artemisia on your right. In the centre is an absinthe fountain and a glass of the beverage which has attracted a luna moth! My husband Matt created the amazing wood panel & frame in the original. My own original acrylic painting.
