Across the River - Thank You Card

There is something that draws us to trees whether it be their gnarled branches, textured bark, the shapes of the leaves or the overall spread of color that they add to a landscape. The two trees that feature in this sepia-pen artwork 'Across the River' are quite delightful and have often captured my attention on my walks along the Werribee River. They also feature in my chalk pastel drawing 'Heaven and Nature Sing'. The two trees frame the river and the landscape beyond - drawing the eyes 'across the river' to the adjoining farmland.
