Lillian Gish was a true career woman, never marrying or having children. Her acting spanned the changes from b&w silent films to sound and colour, then on to television. Lillian starred in "Birth of a Nation" (1915) and other silent movies but made the transition to sound with ease. Appearing in such diverse genre as westerns, "Duel in the Sun" (1946), and thrillers, "Night of the Hunter" (1955), prepared Ms. Gish for an active career on the small screen from the early 1950's until her memorable performance in "The Whales of August" (1987), the final film appearance for both herself and co-star Bette Davis. I originally ordered this print in a larger size but was not pleased with the clarity of it. When I contacted Zazzle, they responded really quickly and were very helpful. I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it.
I am so grateful to the customer service team for the professional way they handled my order. I had this printed on matt finish card and I was really pleased with the quality. The colours were rich and the image sharp.
