Originated in Germany ,it is a preparation time for children to recapture the true meaning of the Spirit of Christmas Holidays. Four weeks before Christmas; first week read and talk about Hope; second week about Peace; third week about Joy; fourth week about Love. It is an activity for family members to do together.Take turn reading Bible verses, singing carols, giving thanks to Jesus, praying. Light consecutive candles and take time to reflect on verses that have been read. Customise, after Christmas tied them up with a ribbon, for your childrens to keep and use in the years to come.
