I thought of this yesterday when a major airline took its final "iconic flight", and a dear old family friend had been with that airline as a senior captain since flying with the tiny airline of its history years ago. I loved that airline and flew it often, and wish all the best with the airline that remains from the merger (especially since Daddy gave me 500 shares of the stock when I believe it was 35 cents a share .... : ) I wish he had lived to see the profit.
