IL-2 attack Soviet airplane as exhibit in Moscow Weaponry Museum on Poklonnaya Hill. The two-seater monoplane of the mixed costruction with an enclosed cockpit and retractable landing gear. Created at the Ilyushin experimental design bureau in 1939. The armored attack airplane became the best ground support plane. The total output of the IL-2 was 36163 aircraft.
