Akrellian Torch Fire Portrait Photo Enlargement

The Akellian Torch Fire Portrait Is A Fractal Art Composition That Combines Structural Fractal Looking Elements With Fluid Form Looking Elements Creating What Looks Like A Framed Portrait With Internal Reflections Amidst A Dark Void. The Frame And Pedestal Was Created Using One Fractal That I Duplicated And Rotated Many Times To Obtain The Look Of A Frame And Pedestal. By Carefully Removing Certain Overlaps The Result Appears To Be A Finely Crafted Metal Frame. I Left The Wings With A Screen Property Because I Liked The Bleed Through Of The Background Images Over A Solid Wing Look And The Transitions Make A Nice Effect. The Torch Fire And Urns Are Composed Of Two Fractal Elements Replicated Several Times And Built Up Until Just The Right Look Was Achieved. I Then Carefully Blended These Into The Background Fractal So That It Looks Like An Integral Part Of The Frame Base. The White Pearl Orb Is Created From Several Layers Of The Same Fractal With Each Layer Being A Different Colour To Achieve A Nice Cream Looking Colour For The Orb. All The Other Fractals Included In The Piece Were Used To Close Up Gaps And To Highlight Different Aspects Of The Image. The Akellian Torch Fire Portrait Consist Of 139 Fractal Objects Which Are Comprised Of 24 Fractal Elements Created Using The Fractron 9000 Fractal Generator; Assembled And Post Processed With The Photo Elements Image Editor.
