Alphonse Mucha Dance 1898 Art Nouveau Vintage Card
This work like many of his others was inspired by the beauty of nature. The circular backdrop features a shell pattern forming an arch above the lone woman. Autumn colors browns, yellows and orange and falling leaves blow in the wind drawing your eyes to the lovely woman. She seductively glances back over her shoulder, while her orange dress and long auburn hair blow in the breeze.
Czech artist Alfons Maria Mucha (known in English and French as Alphonse Mucha), is best known for his distinctive Art Nouveau (Modern) artistic style. Mucha (1860-1939), is fondly remembered for his advertisements, paintings, illustrations, theater sets, home furnishings and jewelry designs.

We downloaded several photos which was simple and produced a very attractive personalised card for our 11yr old Granddaughter.
I was concerned that the card would not arrive on time but Zazzle came up trumps and the card arrived on the day before her birthday - perfect! I didn't see the card as it went straight to our family in New Zealand. However they did send a photo and it looked excellent!
