An Amateur (later named "Coachman and Cabbages") (1870) by Frederick Walker is a vintage Victorian Era realism fine art agricultural painting. A farming and agriculture scene with beautiful autumn colours with the fall foliage. A portrait of a farmer, a man in the vegetable garden on a farm about to pick some cabbages with his dalmatian dog waiting patiently at the garden gate. About the artist: Frederick Walker (1840-1875) was an English social realist painter and illustrator.
