American Beauty Card

This beautiful card features a 1920s watercolor drawing by artist Russell Patterson (1893 - 1977) of a fashionably dressed flapper girl putting on the style. Our red haired American beauty who looks as if she's just stepped out of the pages of a glossy fashion magazine is shown full length with one hand on her hip and the other hand holding a cigarette. There's an almost surreal wisp of curving, twisting smoke trailing from the cigarette to form a decorative line. The card would be suitable for lots of occasions - a friend or sister's birthday, divorce party, girls night out, or just to drop a note or say thank you.
