This gorgeous trade card image advertises the 55th American Institute Fair. It is one of several designs promoting this exciting event. The annual exhibits informed the public about new technologies by displaying the finest product of manufacturing and agriculture. Exhibitors were recognised and encouraged with competition, prizes and rewards. The Institute was founded in 1828, attracting wide attention from investors. It displayed and promoted products such as the McCormick reaper, the sewing machine, Colt fire-arms, printing presses, the Morse telegraph, the first anthracite coal burning stove, the stocking loom and the telephone.

I was able to reorder the print in a smaller size and it was shipped to me within a couple of weeks. The print was packaged well to ensure there was no damage during transit (Eco friendly, too!), and I am really pleased with it. I am so grateful to the customer service team for the professional way they handled my order. I had this printed on matt finish card and I was really pleased with the quality. The colours were rich and the image sharp.
