American Pride Card

This card is designed/intended to remind recipients that it's special to be an American, at a time when it's not feeling so special. The quote is from my grandfather, who was a German immigrant and leading constitutional scholar who, though not Jewish himself, spent much of the 1930's finding positions for Jewish academics in our country so they could escape the Nazis. After WWII, he helped write the constitutions of both Germany and Israel. The wreath, set against a red, white, and blue painted backdrop, is filled with objects that celebrate our country's achievements and contributions to the world. All monies collected on the sale of this card (15% of sales before taxes) will go to help fund Creative Politics, a new initiative under development that will be the world’s first community-based political incubator, synthesizing the best of liberal and conservative ideals, history and technology, to generate projects, campaigns, showcases, contests --all well outside the Beltway—and more, that we hope will help restore our nation, as well as the joy of politics and political endeavor.
