For this design we started with a nice big heart shape to not only represent your love for your state but also for all the states of America. We did this by placing silhouettes of all the states within the heart making a mosaic of all the states in the union. To show your love for North Carolina over all the rest we have made North Carolina blue and the other states of the US red. North Carolina is known as the Old North State and as the Tar Heel State. The North Carolinian state motto is To Be, Rather Than To Seem. The capital of North Carolina is Raleigh and largest city is Charlotte. North Carolinas beauty comes from being the home/part of; Appalachian Mountain, Smoky Mountains, Blue Ridge Mountains, and Great Balsam Mountains and too many more to list here. North Carolina was one of the original 13 Colonies.
