Angelic Musician Ceramic Tree Decoration

The original painting was done by Giovanni Battista di Jacopo, 1494-1540, known as Rosso Fiorentino (meaning “Red Florentine” in Italian) in the year 1520. He was born in Florence, Italy, with a head of red hair that gave him his nickname. This beautiful print of an angel or cherub like creature playing a minstrel instrument, famously captures the ethereal Renaissance period from which it came and the famous artist who painted it hundreds of years ago.
