Clipper ships were faster than average merchant ships. A voyage from the East Coast to California around Cape Horn was 17,000 miles long and could easily take five months. Such a huge range of different frogs available, which made my choices very difficult and now the reason I have a whole draw full of cards and postcards! Much better quality than you can buy in the shops and they are exactly on the subject I love and adore too.
