The Antelope Canyon of Arizona is a series of rock spiral arches, tunnels and chambers cross the Navajo lands in Arizona. It is part of The Navajo Sandstone, a geological formation in the Glen Canyon Group that is spreads across across several states. It was formed by flash flooding from monsoon rains over millions of years. The site is still flooded often during monsoon season, which is the reason only guided tours are allowed.
